What is Trading Standards Checked?
Trading Standards Checked is a scheme run by Kent County Council to help residents find reliable and vetted trades and service providers. Businesses who join the scheme are put through a series of checks to make sure they operate safely, legally, and to a high standard.
Why does it matter?
To qualify, we had to pass a detailed 50-point assessment covering our business, paperwork, directors, and how we operate day-to-day. It's not something you can simply "sign up" for, the checks are carried out directly by Trading Standards, and only businesses that meet their criteria are approved.
